Emmanouela Studios is located in Karterados, just 1 km far from the capital Fira.
Our village is one of the oldest settlement of Santorini, with traditional white-washed houses surrounded by vineyards, fruit and vegetable growing areas.
In Karterados you can find all services and facilities you might need, including supermarkets, turist information office, travel agencies, scooter and car rentals, police station, groceries and more, while the closest bus stop is just 5 min walk from our studios.
It’s a quiet and peaceful village where you can relax enjoying the traditional greek life made of fishing and farming. Still there are bars and cafes, restaurants and fish taverns.
The quiet beaches of Exo Gialos and Monolithos are very close and can be reached by scooter in 5 minutes or, if you prefer, on foot through various paths. They are located on the eastern cost of Santorini, opposite to the Caldera, and offer both public and organised beaches on the wide blue Aegean Sea.
